Volunteers Needed
This is a recurring event occurring on the third Saturday of each month.
The FBI Dallas Citizens Academy Alumni Association is always searching for ways to reach out to our various communities and offer assistance in areas of need as community outreach is the number one desired focus of all chapters. One such opportunity has been presented to us recently, and we are looking for volunteers from our membership for the third Saturday of each month starting at 12:15 PM. Location is the New Hope Baptist Church, 5002 South Central Expressway, Dallas 75215. Please use 4918 Harwood St, Dallas, TX 75215 for navigation systems (this will be the address shown in your email confirmation and event reminder).
Bring The Light Ministries is an organization that serves primarily South Dallas and the surrounding areas to provide basic food and necessities to one of Dallas’s most economically challenged areas. Last year, in response to Covid-19, they distributed over 25,000 meals to the homeless. The Dallas FBICAAA would like to provide enough volunteers to make up at least one team of 10-12 individuals that can take one of the shifts on the two weekly outreach events that Bring the Light Ministries organizes.
Whether you want to volunteer for just one weekend, or commit to more, sign up through our website below for the 21st to get started. We will submit a list of volunteers to the Bring the Light Ministries volunteer coordinator so that we can work together as a CAAA team. Come out for a couple of hours and help change some lives!
Registration will close on Friday at 5pm the day before the event. Each occurrence has its own registration page.
