Dr. “Lou” Iorio has been presenting to groups in Connecticut and Texas in partnership with “the underground” in order to build awareness and assist in Anti-Human Trafficking efforts.

He graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York City. Dr. Iorio practiced medicine for over three decades during which he specialized in Orthopedic Surgery, in which he is Board Certified. He completed a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Iorio was affiliated with the Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and was also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine. He retired from practicing Orthopedics in 2015. He is an Instrument Rated Pilot and an experienced licensed private boat captain. He is now a business owner and philanthropist. He is a 2013 graduate of the FBI New Haven Citizens Academy.
