DESCRIPTION:\nOn July 7\, 2016\, a planned protest was held at 7:00 p.m. ne
 ar the Federal Building in downtown Dallas and included an estimated crowd
  of 1500 persons.  At approximately 8:45 p.m.\, an active shooter targete
 d\, and fired shots at uniformed police officers\, killing five officers\,
  wounding seven officers and two civilians.\n\nThe FBI’s efforts subsequ
 ent to these events demonstrated its clear commitment and leadership to su
 pporting its fellow law enforcement and private sector partners.  Supervi
 sory Special Agent (SSA) Rick Burkhead will focus on the coordination and 
 collaboration efforts of the FBI with private sector partners for the 10 d
