As the FBI strives to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, we are actively seeking qualified candidates with different backgrounds and experiences to connect with the communities we serve. To bridge the ethnic, racial and gender gaps between the FBI and the community, the FBI implemented a national Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) initiative.
To support this initiative, Dallas is hosting a virtual DAR event on April 13, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CST). We would greatly appreciate your help in recruiting qualified candidates to make this event a success. Attached is the DAR flyer we would like you to circulate to your professional contacts, fellow alumni, church members, sorority/fraternity organizations and friends whom you feel would make excellent Special Agents (SAs). If you choose to share the flyer via email, please include the following synopsis:
A Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) initiative has been developed to aggressively target women and minorities for the Special Agent position. The DAR program is an Information Session for individuals interested in learning more about the Special Agent position. The FBI is hosting a Virtual DAR event on April 13, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CST). To register for the DAR Information Session, individuals must complete the following:
- Navigate to FBIJOBS.GOV
- Click ‘Apply to Jobs’
- Select Talent Networks
- Click on Dallas DAR Talent Network
- Read the job summary instructions and click Start
Anyone interested in attending the DAR Information Session should register as soon as possible to secure a spot. Qualified candidates will receive a Microsoft TEAM link prior to the event. For questions regarding the DAR event, candidates can send an email to DALLASDAR@FBI.GOV.
Please advise your referrals that the DAR event is only an Information Session. Candidates who wish to actually apply for the Special Agent position can do so through the same website (FBIJOBS.GOV) by creating a profile, submitting their resume and completing an application.
Lastly, to best demonstrate the depth of knowledge and experiences within the FBI, we will also be hosting anIn-person DAR event (location to be determined) on July 28, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We need volunteers to assist in these events. If you are interested in participating in either event, please obtain supervisory authorization and reach out to Special Agent Patricia Ortiz at Portiz@fbi.gov.
