You have to be current on your membership dues to attend this trip. It is time once again to start planning the annual Quantico/FBIHQ visit. Our dates for this Fiscal year are scheduled for March 12-15, 2019: March 12 & 15 being travel days, March 13 being the Quantico visit and March 14 being the Headquarters visit. You must be a current Citizens Academy Alumni Association (CAAA) Member in order to attend.
Same as last year, the recent graduates have been offered the first opportunity to sign-up which starts on 1/4/18.
There are only 25 slots available and sign up will be on a first come, first serve basis. I will begin accepting sign ups on Monday, January 7, 2018 at 9:00 AM (please do not send e-mails to sign up prior to this date and time as they will not be accepted). I will be your primary point of contact, please e-mail directly to: adharris@fbi.gov if you would like to attend.
This year we will have a minimum of 15 people and maximum of 25 people. I typically end up having a waiting list as some people end up having to cancel as we get closer. I will let you know if you are on the confirmed or standby list.
Due to the increasing number of CAAA members, spouse/guest will only be able to attend if there are slots left after CAAA members have signed up. I’m happy to add spouse/guest to the standby list in the event there are slots open. If a slots open, the spouse/guest cannot be a foreign national. Background checks will also need to be completed for all non-citizens academy alumni.
All expenses incurred will be each individual's responsibility to include but not limited to: hotel, airfare, transportation to/from airport/hotel, and food. The only cost covered is transportation from FBIHQ to Quantico and back for the Quantico visit. Each individual that would like to attend is also responsible for making his/her own hotel and air reservations.
The attire for each visit is business.
