This class is lecture only. Considering the year, we have all been through this would be a great refresher. It is 12 hours of Lecture Only. Sometime in the future when the CDC permits, we will resume normal CERT Training. We will schedule a special “Hands-On” training class for those who took the Lecture Only classes for training on all the various “Hands-On” training elements. This class will then be followed by a Final Exercise that will ask you to put into practice all the training you received. (More details to follow)
You must fill out the online application by going to https://dallascityhall.com/departments/officeemergencymanagement/Pages/CERT-Training.aspx
You will receive a corresponding confirmation email from CERT stating you are in this new CERT class.
As we get closer to the start date, you will receive an email with the instructions on how to login to attend the online class. A computer or tablet is strongly recommended. A smart phone is not appropriate.
