We hope everyone is staying safe and doing well during this pandemic. To continue supporting the Stay Home orders for groups, we are moving our 2nd quarter meeting to a virtual platform.
While we may be staying home and focusing on work and family, cyber criminals are focusing on taking advantage of these times.
Please join us for the next FBI Dallas CAAA Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 6pm via Zoom to hear more about what cyber criminals are doing. The meeting speakers will be FBI Dallas SSA Brett Leatherman and Shawn Tuma of Spencer Fane, LLP.
Brett Leatherman works with the FBI cyber team focused on engaging private sector, critical infrastructure, and international partners to prevent or detect cyber criminal and national security threats to US based networks, and attribution and pursuit of the adversary.
Shawn Tuma is an experienced cybersecurity and data privacy attorney and partner at Spencer Fane, LLP, where he serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice Group. He is widely recognized as an international thought-leader and subject matter expert in cybersecurity and data privacy law. Having practiced in this area of law since 1999, he is one of the most experienced and well-respected cybersecurity and data privacy law attorneys in the United States.
Registration is open and will close Monday, May 11, 2020 at 10am. A Zoom link will be sent out via email once registration closes.
