The FBI Dallas CAAA is joining Carry The Load, in partnership with the National Cemetery Administration, for a day of service at national cemeteries across the country on September 10th. The time will be between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Our Dallas Chapter volunteers will help to beautify the cemetery grounds and clean the headstones of our fallen heroes at the DFW National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Closed toe shoes are required with casual attire, jeans, etc. and work gloves are encouraged. Work supplies will be provided. No pets are allowed or children under 10. Children 10+ must be accompanied by a parent. Carry The Load is asking all volunteers to arrive by 9:45 am. Come out and wear your CAAA t-shirts so your fellow alumni can identify you!
As many as 2,500 headstones have been cleaned in a day at this location. If you can spare a couple of hours in a meaningful way to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes – military, law enforcement, firefighters, rescue personnel and their families, it would mean so much to all.
