The Dallas FBI CAAA has been invited to the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas to discuss the incident which occurred on January 15, 2022, when Mallik Akram, an armed British Pakistani man, enter the Congregation and took four people hostage. We will have the opportunity to hear from one of the hostages who will take us minute by minute on the events which occurred inside the synagogue that night. Colleyville Police Chief Mike Miller will also be in attendance to discuss the actions of law enforcement during the takeover of the building. It is a great opportunity to hear from those involved in what has been considered one of the most successful responses by both hostages and law enforcement officials during an active shooter situation.
