Hidden in Plain Sight Virtual Presentation

“Hidden in Plain Sight” presentation should help strengthen your detective skills as a parent, grandparent, or family member on current teenager drug and alcohol trends, concealments, and how a concerned adult can help a young person making drug-using choices.
Marla Pollan, MSSW, LMSW-AP, has been an intervention specialist with the Arlington Independent School District since 1997. For ten years prior to joining AISD, Ms. Pollan was a program director for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Arlington. She is a proud Red Raider as she completed a BA in Social Welfare degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ms. Pollan is a strong advocate for prevention programs with over 30 years of experience in working with families and youth.
Intervention services provided address the social, emotional and behavioral issues of a student to promote academic success. These services may include substance abuse screenings, individual intervention counseling, group counseling, prevention presentations, referrals to treatment facilities, parent meetings, follow up services and staff trainings.
Registration is open and will close Monday, March 29th at 12am. A Zoom link will be emailed the day before the event. Also, you must log into Zoom with your membership name or you will not be entered into the event.
