On Thursday, June 20, 2019, the FBI Dallas Division will once again host the FBI Dallas Teen Academy.
The Teen Academy is a one day overview of the FBI for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The day will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 5:00 pm. Topics have traditionally included presentations in Counterterrorism, Cyber-Internet Safety, and Drugs in addition to demonstrations in Evidence Response Team (ERT), Crisis Negotiation, Bomb Tech program, and SWAT. The Applicant Recruiting process will be featured during the lunch break (topics subject to change).
Due to the growth in the Teen Academy Program, this year the application process has changed and applicants must now complete an essay along with his/her application. The maximum number of participants will be 100. Application, form and essay must be completed and sent to Angela Harris via email or mail, no later than April 26, 2019. If the applicant is selected to participate, more information will be provided.
