FBI Diversity Agent Recruitment Program

FBI Diversity Agent Recruitment Program

Although FBI employees are among the best and brightest, the FBI works diligently to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.  To best complete our mission, we must hire qualified candidates with different backgrounds and experiences to connect with the communities we serve.  To bridge the ethnic, racial and gender gaps between the FBI and the community, the FBI implemented a national Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) initiative.

We would greatly appreciate your help in recruiting qualified candidates to attend this event.  Attached is the DAR flyer we would like you to circulate to your professional contacts, fellow alumni, church members, and friends whom you feel would make excellent Special Agents (SAs).  If you choose to share the flyer via email, please include the following synopsis:

“A Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) initiative has been developed to aggressively target women and minorities for the Special Agent position. The DAR program is an Information Session for minorities interested in learning more about the FBI, particularly the Special Agent position. The FBI is hosting a DAR event in Dallas on September 25, 2017.”

Anyone interested in attending the DAR event and/or applying for the Special Agent position, can do so through our website at www.fbijobs.gov.

To register for the DAR Information Session individuals must complete the following:
1.    Navigate to FBIJobs.gov
2.    Click Apply to Jobs
3.    Select Talent Networks
4.    Click on DAR Dallas Talent Network
5.    Read the job summary instructions and click Start.

To apply for the Special Agent position, applicants will need to create a profile, submit a resume, and complete the pre-application questionnaire and application.”

Anyone interested in attending the DAR Information Session should register as soon as possible to secure a seat.  Qualified candidates will receive additional information and an invitation to the event.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Respectfully,
Angela Harris
