Please see the volunteer opportunity listed below. We hope you are able to participate, and we look forward to seeing you at our first quarter meeting (date coming soon).

>>>>>

My name is Officer Kevin Hubbard and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at the Irving Police Department.  I am reaching out to you as your organization has shown interest in providing assistance in our large-scale exercise being conducted at the Irving Music Factory on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019.  The Irving Police Department is seeking approximately 200+ volunteers to serve as ACTORS in this scenario-based training exercise.  With this in mind, I am requesting that you reach out to your membership and see if any would be willing to attend the event as an ACTOR to assist in this training opportunity for the Irving Police Department, Irving Fire Department, Live Nation, as well as numerous other involved businesses.  Any ACTOR that attends the event will be utilized as an ACTOR being provided with a specific role or possibly as a victim.  Several, however not all, ACTORS will represent victims being injured through use of Moulage.

The tentative “Volunteer Schedule” for the event is as follows:

5:45 AM               Registration Begins (Breakfast/Coffee Served)
7:00 AM               Registration Closes
8:00 AM               Exercise Starts
12:00 PM             Exercise Ends
12:15 PM             Volunteer De-Brief
12:30 PM             Volunteers Released

Please keep in mind that there will be a minimum age requirement of 18 years of age.  Anyone interested in participating will be subject to completion of a liability waiver in addition to a code of conduct form prior to being allowed into the venue.  For those interested in participating in the event, the following link can be used to register as an VOLUNTEER/ACTOR:
