The FBI Dallas CAAA has been invited to attend a special presentation on “The History of Machine Learning and Emerging Concepts of AI”, a lecture and slide show by Dr. Gopal Gupta.

📍 Location: The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), Room TBD, 800 W Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75090

Please note: Actual room location will be disclosed closer to the date based on participation.

We will have the opportunity to hear from a leading authority currently teaching and researching applications of artificial intelligence, which will serve as our association’s background lecture prior to our general AI briefing by FBI Dallas on June 4.

Dr. Gupta is currently a Professor of Computer Science at UTD and the Co-Director of The Center for Applied AI and Machine Learning. He is an experienced lecturer for all levels of understanding of future usages of AI. Dr. Gopal holds an undergraduate degree from the Indian School of Technology in Kapur, India, as well as a Master’s and PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions of Dr. Gopal following the 45-minute presentation.
