Special Agent Colby Harries will be discussing the IRS Criminal Investigation’s role in federal law enforcement, criminal tax violations, and financial crimes.

Special Agent Harries is a graduate from Kansas State University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. He has spent six years as an IRS auditor for large corporations, including the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program. Additionally, he spent eight years as an IRS Special Agent – with a focus on tax return preparers, individual and employment tax evasion, and COVID relief fraud, with taskforce experience in Identity Theft and Cybercrimes. Mr. Harries currently lives in Plano with his wife, Caroline.
